I can imagine the uneasiness of people living in the UK right now with some likely on edge, saddened and even reluctant in their daily activities after 3 major terrorism attacks in a short period of time.
We pray for those affected by the violence!
I’m not trying to be a downer, but the truth is we live in a time where it’s not a matter of if but when something will happen again and even here in the U.S. It’s the unfortunate reality off living in a world where yes, there’s a whole lot of good happening, but there’s also a whole lot of evil. There are also people who consciously and overtly are anti-Christianity and deny the very life of Christ.
So how do we face this? Do we crawl up in the fetal position and just wait for something to happen?
We get up every day and we commit our lives, our dreams, our hopes and our aspirations to Jesus.
We make a commitment to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Regardless of what happens life is a faith walk, a trust walk, and if I only had myself to rely upon I’d be a mess! I know, that there is a God who loves me, and a God who says he’ll be with me regardless of what happens.
So we move forward and we take every day as a gift.
We become acutely aware of the gifts God’s given us and maximize those gifts to expand the kingdom of God!
[and if you don’t know what I mean by that, then check out this assessment that will help you identify further the ways God made you: http://ventureon59.com/spiritual-gifts-test/]
When you and I know who we were intended to be and the way we were designed, we have more purpose, more meaning, more fulfillment and greater confidence.
We pray for you UK and pray you have hope!
